The Springdale and West Blue Mounds Church Councils approved restarting our Wednesday Meals with a curbside pick-up format. We wanted to continue the ministry and offer a hot meal, especially to people who may be struggling. Everyone is welcome! We’re happy to report that our favorite, talented chef Phillip Kingslein will again prepare the meals.
Beginning on January 27, to-go meals will be provided at West Blue Mounds. Meals will be available for pick-up between 5 p.m. and 6 p.m. A volunteer will go outside to greet people as they drive up, ask for their name, and then deliver their meal(s) to the car.
Reservations for meals should be made by contacting Fay at the church office by email or phone by 5 p.m. Friday, January 22. Reservations will be due each Friday for the following Wednesday.
A free-will offering will be accepted, but is not required. If you would like to order a meal or volunteer to deliver curbside orders on a Wednesday night, please contact Fay at 608-437-3493 or secretary@springdalelutheran.org.
