Need a Helping Hand?
Do you, a family member or friend need a helping hand? Maybe you don’t know where to turn or who to ask. Maybe you need help cleaning up your yard, planting flowers, making a repair on your house or getting a ride to a doctor’s appointment or church. Or maybe you just want someone to talk to. Please reach out – we may have volunteers who could help! And you don’t have to be a member of Springdale or West Blue Mounds Church. Volunteer Opportunity: Sunday Morning Assistance
We’re in need of volunteers for Sunday morning tasks at both Springdale and West Blue Mounds.There’s a need for ushers, lectors, Communion servers, counting the offering, and serving as a fellowship host. Please contact Secretary Fay Dahlgren if you have any questions or would like to volunteer. If you’d like to help at West Blue Mounds, you’re welcome to contact Kay Oimoen directly. Volunteer Opportunities: The Sky’s the Limit!
In addition to any specific volunteer opportunities that may be listed, there’s always room for more. Whether you’re a member, a guest, or someone who wants to make a difference in the lives of others, there’s a place for you! All ages are welcome. There are existing ministries that may interest you, such as making quilts for children in foster care or cooking for parish meals. And, there are other activities we could initiate, such as making cards for older adults or watering flowers in the cemetery. The sky’s the limit, so let us know what you’re interested in!
