The Ice Cream Social on June 27 was a rousing success! A large number of people turned out for the event and we raised about $700 to help pay our church’s bills. The Social provided an opportunity for fellowship through sharing a meal together and having fun while volunteering.
Sherri Hefty deserves a huge thank you for the outstanding job she did as Ice Cream Social Chair. A special thank you to Amy Slaney and family for donating all the meat for the Sloppy Joes that came from their organic USDA-Certified beef cattle. We’d also like to express our sincere appreciation to all of you who attended the Social, donated, made pies, potato salad and more, promoted the event and volunteered. We couldn’t have accomplished the great results without every one of you!
