Jim Ranney is closing in on the end of his journey to becoming a pastor. Graduation is set for May 17 and 18 at Wartburg Theological Seminary in Dubuque, Iowa.
There are several more steps that must take place, so we expect Jim’s ordination will be held in the fall. The event will take place on a Sunday afternoon so invited pastors who are leading Sunday morning worship services at other churches can attend. Springdale will host the event rather than West Blue Mounds because of the larger seating capacity. After the ordination ceremony, we’ll be hosting a Norwegian dinner in honor of Jim’s heritage and the history of our churches.
