This year’s pandemic version of the Springdale Annual Car Show – the “COVID Car Cruise” – was a big success!
At least 34 cars participated in the event on a beautiful summer day on Saturday, August 22. Drivers were treated to the gorgeous scenery of Southern Wisconsin’s Driftless Area on their route and enjoyed a delicious lunch at Tyrol Basin prepared by Phillip Kingslein and his team.
Proceeds will be donated to Neighbors Helping Neighbors to support those hit hardest in our community by COVID-19. If you’d like to contribute, just visit the Give page and select Car Show Fundraiser..
A sincere thank you to everyone who helped make this event such a success! Mike Reynolds and John Arnold led the way, with huge help from other Car Cruise Committee members Amy Slaney, Sherri Hefty and Phillip Kingslein.
Others who lended a hand were Jim Ranney, Mary Arnold, Bob Hanson, John Scheidegger, Emma Ringgenberg, Joel Ringgenberg, Cayden Slaney, Addyson Slaney, Barrett Slaney and Kay Midthun. Special thanks to John Berryman for taking photos!
One highlight of the event was seeing the smiles on Ingleside Nursing Home residents in Mount Horeb as the parade of cars cruised by. Pastor Loren and Pastor Linda also supported the event and gave a friendly wave to participants.
We thank everyone who participated, donated and helped make this year’s event possible!
