As noted in the August newsletter, because of the pandemic, we turned the 2020 Car Show into a Car Cruise. It was a big success, with at least 34 cars participating in the event on a beautiful summer day on Saturday, August 22. Drivers were treated to the gorgeous scenery of Southern Wisconsin on their route and enjoyed a delicious lunch at Tyrol Basin prepared by Phillip Kingslein and his team.

Event proceeds will be donated to Neighbors Helping Neighbors. The final amount has yet to be determined.

A sincere thank you to everyone who helped make this event such a success! Mike Reynolds and John Arnold led the way, with huge help from other Car Cruise Committee members Amy Slaney, Sherri Hefty and Phillip Kingslein.

Others who lended a hand were Jim Ranney, Mary Arnold, Bob Hanson, John Scheidegger, Emma Ringgenberg, Joel Ringgenberg, Cayden Slaney, Addyson Slaney, Barrett Slaney, Kay Midthun and John Berryman.

One highlight of the event was seeing the smiles on Ingleside Nursing Home residents in Mount Horeb as the parade of cars cruised by. Pastor Loren and Pastor Linda also supported the event and gave a friendly wave to participants.

Thanks to all of you for your support!
