Please consider helping out at Springdale on Saturday, October 1 as we host a Celebration of Life Service for longtime members Dale and Liz Chapman. Friends and members of our parish are invited to attend the service to honor Dale and Liz. Their sons, Kent and Kevin, are planning this service at Springdale because the family was an important part of the church and community for many years. Whether it was leadership, choir or volunteering, Dale and Liz were always there to help. They had to move from Wisconsin for health reasons, but even though they relocated, Dale, Liz, Kevin and Kent will always be part of our church family.
The Celebration of Life service will begin at 1 p.m., followed by the luncheon. Sandwiches from Miller’s will be provided so we will need salads, casseroles and desserts. We expect a fairly large crowd for the luncheon. Please contact Fay Dahlgren if you’re willing to chip in at 608-437-3493.
