Springdale Car Show 2013
Saturday, August 24
2752 Town Hall Road, Mt. Horeb, WI
Springdale’s Car Show is open to all classes of cars and tractors. Registration begins at 8:00 am and is $10 per vehicle. Parking for cars is primarily pavement or partially on grass. Tractors will be parked on the grass. Free coffee and pastries are available during registration for all our exhibitors. The show runs from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. The show is free to spectators but a free will donation is encouraged.
Springdale’s Car Show was started in 2011 to bring together car enthusiasts for a purpose. Each year, Springdale selects one or two local organizations to support with the proceeds of the Car Show. This year Springdale is pleased to be supporting Disabled American Veterans (or DAV). The mission of the DAV is one of service and advocacy on behalf of the thousands of men and women who put their lives on the line to ensure our safety and to protect our freedoms and way of life. Representatives of the DAV will be on hand the day of the show to provide more information on their services and to answer any questions. You can help support our veterans with much needed services and support with your registration fee or cash donations.
Through the generosity of our local sponsors and partners, we are able to provide goodie bags and door prizes to our exhibitors. Goodie bags and dash plaques are provided to the first 50 exhibitors after the registration information has been completed. Exhibitors will also be automatically entered for door prize drawings throughout the day.
Voting is conducted throughout the day by both exhibitors and spectators. Only registered vehicles are eligible for awards, but any vehicle may participate in the show. Exhibitors vote for “Best in Show” and spectators vote for “People’s Choice” awards. Six awards are presented in each category for cars. Voting for tractors is conducted in the same fashion but only one award will be presented in each category. Awards are presented at 3:00 pm, at the close of the show.
Food and beverages are available on site for sale. The youth group also offers a sweet treat for sale. Picnic tables and some shaded seating are set up for your use. New this year are some activities for the whole family like face painting and games. Come and spend the day with us.
Come and join us on Saturday, August 24. We are holding a space for you!
